The Downtown Modesto Art Walk is held year-round on the third Thursday of each month from 5:00pm to 9:00 pm.  The Art Walk features art galleries, as well as businesses and organizations that display art for the evening – coming together to showcase the best of the arts in downtown Modesto.

              It was started in 2003 and has become an integral part of the art scene in our community.  Most area galleries time the opening of new exhibits to the event and it provides a pleasant atmosphere in which to meet local artists, view and purchase art, and connect with other, like-minded art lovers. Maps of participating galleries and organization are available at all participating sites.
